GCM

The curved screen with mechanical cleaning is installed on small and medium treatment plants and complies with various screening requirements.
The screen consists of curved bars joined to a couple of cleaning combs secured to the ends of a revolving arm. The equipment is controlled by a gear motor directly fitted on the main shaft. The comb cleaning is secured by a two-cam driven device ensuring the maximum reliability and longest life. The screened material can be collected in a specific stationary container located on the channel just downstream the screen or can be driven away by means of a conveyor belt. The protection against overloads is ensured by dynamometric devices or electronic load limiting devices. The overall sizes of this equipment are very limited and the power consumptions are low. On request and for special applications it is possible to supply the type GCMM whose filtering screen is a perforated plate cleaned by brushes applied at the revolving arm end.
The standard construction is with carbon steel plates and sections protected by hot dip galvanization. On request, it is possible to have the protection with epoxy painting cycle or the screen made in stainless steel.
