PRTPD

The type PRTPD consists of a couple of mobile girders used as walkway, a slewing ring unit, a central deflector, two traction trolleys, a drive unit for each trolley, a scum box, a diametral couple of skimming blades, a diametral couple of sludge scraper blades, a peripheral deflector and a weir. The slewing ring unit is fitted in the middle of the tank and is provided with thrust bearings and distribution collector ring with double brush. The traction trolleys and relevant control units are located at the walkway periphery. The sewage inlet is central, but the flow is deviated by the deflector in order to optimize the sedimentation. The settled sludge is gathered and conveyed by the scraper to the middle of the tank. The skimming blades and the scum box have the function of removing any possible floating materials and substances such as oils and surface-active materials.
The protection against overloads can be carried out by the electro-mechanical torque limit switches, adequately set, complete with alarm signals displayed on the control panel.
The standard construction is in carbon steel. On request, the construction in stainless steel or aluminium is possible.
