PRTP

The type PRTP consists of a mobile girder used as a walkway, a slewing ring unit, a central deflector, a traction trolley, a drive unit, a scum box, a skimming blade, a set of sludge scraper blades, a peripheral deflector and a weir. The slewing ring unit is fitted in the middle of the tank and is provided with thrust bearings and distribution collector ring with double brush. The traction trolley and the control unit are located at the walkway periphery.
The sewage inlet is central, but the flow is deviated by the deflector in order to optimize the sedimentation. The settled sludge is gathered and conveyed to the middle of the tank by the scrapers. The skimming blade and hopper function is to remove any floating materials and substances such as oils and surface-active materials. The protection against overloads can be carried out by an electro-mechanical torque limit switch, to be duly set, complete with alarm signals displayed on the control panel if any. The standard type of execution is with a girder length equal to the clarifier radius but, on request, the type with a length equal to 1 + 1/3 of the clarifier radius can be supplied.
The standard construction is in carbon steel. On request, the construction in stainless steel or aluminium is possible.
