Screens

The screening in a municipal or industrial water treatment plant is the first phase that you find in the treatment process; its optimum performance involves a drastic reduction of the organic load at the inlet of the subsequent treatments. Moreover the perfect operation of a screening station allows to minimize any clogging possibility in the pumps installed downstream.
The large number of screens that we propose allows our customers to make the right selection according to the specific plant requirements. Thanks to the wide range of sizes available for each model, it is possible to install screens in channels of any height, width, discharge height and flow. Moreover, the use of screens designed according to the most recent technology, such as the FC, FCS and FSS screw filter units allows the screening, lifting, washing and compacting of the screened material and the discharge at the desired height, and all these functions are performed by one only equipment.
The research, always at the top of our activities for the growth of SERECO, has also led to the fabrication of a GNP flat teeth screen whose teeth, designed according to an advanced and patented geometry, combine strength, screening efficiency, belt cleaning and reliability. According to your requirements, you can make a selection among screens having mechanical components immersed or less in water, or even a GVI hydraulic screen which is able to operate in the heaviest conditions, also completely under water.
The single data sheets contain any information required for the correct selection of the screen, as for the size and the model according to the channel dimensions, filtering gap, discharge height, etc.
Many of the proposed screens are offered, as standard version, in stainless steel in order to limit the relevant maintenance costs and prolong their medium life; on request, any type of screen can be produced in stainless steel.
We wish to point out that the screening process can be also carried out directly by the compact pre-treatment sewage stations SBFC, SBFCS, SBGNP and FCSDS type, whose characteristics are given in the specific sheets.
